Regional Forest Agreement
New South Wales
- New South Wales has three Regional Forest Agreements, covering 15.1 million hectares of the State.
- The RFAs established a Comprehensive, Adequate and Representative (CAR) reserve system in the regions of about 3.8 million hectares.
- The native forest timber industry in the three regions makes a major contribution to the State's economy.
