The Peak Industry Body
DAFF and the FRDC are currently funding an industry led process to establish a business case for the re-establishment of a peak industry body.
Commonwealth Fisheries Association
The CFA was formed in April 2002, and its membership is made up of industry associations from most of the major Commonwealth fisheries. The CFA was established as a forum for consideration of issues relating to Commonwealth fisheries and to represent the views of Commonwealth fishers with government agencies.
National Aquaculture Council
The NAC is the peak body representing the aquaculture industry across Australia.
Australian Recreational and Sport Fishing Industry Confederation (RecFish Australia)
RecFish Australia is the peak representative organisation for recreational fishers. The Game Fishers Association of Australia is the peak representative organisation for game and charter fishers in Australia.
