Finalised Plant IRAs
Plant Biosecurity develops policies which allow for the safe importation of plants and plant prodects. Major policy changes are based on an IRA process that is conducted according to Government policy and in a manner consistent with the agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS Agreement).
Plant Biosecurity has completed the following IRA's:
- Apples from New Zealand March 2007
- Apples from New Zealand December 1998
- Durian from Thailand
- Fuji apple from Japan
- Korean Pear from Korea
- Limes Tahitian from New Caledonia
- Longans and Lychees from China and Thailand
- Maize from the USA
- Mangoes from the Philippines
- Mangosteens from Thailand
- Pineapples - Generic
- Sweetcorn seed for sowing from the USA
- Table grapes from Chile
- Table grapes from the USA
- Ya Pear from China
