Application to Import Plant Materials - Horticultural Products

There are now more options for completing and submitting the Application to Import Plant Materials:

1. Complete and submit an ePermit application form online (for eligible commodities)
2. Complete and submit electronic application form online (eLodge)
3. Download application form

1. Complete and submit ePermit form online (for eligible commodities)

Import Permits for some horticultural products can be now applied for using ePermits, AQIS’s new electronic Import Permit application system. ePermits allows applicants to apply online and receive an Import Permit via email. Not all commodities are available for ePermit application. Go to the ePermits site or check ICON to see if your commodity is ePermitable.

Please note: If you are submitting application form online, payment must be made by credit card.

 2. Complete and submit application form online (eLodge)

The Application to Import Plant Materials can now be submitted and paid for electronically, within our secure environment. The application form is made up of 3 steps: Step 1 requires importer and exporter details, Step 2 requires product/commodity details and importer declaration, Step 3 requires payment details.

Please note: If you are submitting application form online, payment must be made by credit card. The minimum fee for online lodgement is $75.00 and other charges will apply. Please refer to the Charging Schedule for Import Permit Applications to ensure you have authorised sufficient payment.

Paying for your application form

Processing of your application form will not begin before the prescribed fee is paid in full. Please refer to the Charging Schedule for Import Permit Applications to ensure you have provided sufficient payment.

If you are not submitting application form online, you can pay for your application in one of the following ways:

Cheques should be payable to the 'Collector of Public Monies, DAFF'.
