Application to Import Biological Materials
There are now more options for completing and submitting the Application to Import Biological Materials:

The Application to Import Biological Materials can now be submitted and paid for electronically, within our secure environment. The application form is made up of 3 steps: Step 1 requires importer and exporter details, Step 2 requires product/commodity details and importer declaration, Step 3 requires payment details.
Please note: If you are submitting application form online, payment must be made by credit card. The minimum fee for online lodgement is $75.00 and other charges will apply. Please refer to the Charging Schedule for Import Permit Applications to ensure you have authorised sufficient payment.

Paying for your completed application
Processing of your application form will not begin before the prescribed fee is paid in full. Please refer to the Charging Schedule for Import Permit Applications to ensure you have provided sufficient payment.
If you are not submitting application form online, you can pay for your application in one of the following ways:
- mail or fax credit card details, with your application form to the AQIS Canberra office. Please attach a completed Credit Card Payment Form to your application.

Submitting your application form
Applications should be posted or faxed to the AQIS Canberra office.
