AQIS Accredited Veterinarians

This page provides contact details of Australian veterinarians who have applied to AQIS to become either AQIS Accredited Veterinarians (Livestock), AQIS Third Party Veterinarians (Companion Animals), AQIS Third Party Veterinarians (Embryo Transfer).

AQIS Accredited Veterinarians (Livestock)

From 21 November 2006, a veterinarian who undertakes pre-export preparation and/or shipboard services for livestock under an Approved Export Program must be accredited by AQIS under new arrangements.

Only veterinarians who have applied to AQIS under the new arrangements, met the criteria and been placed on the 'approved list' will be recognised as AQIS Accredited Export Veterinarians (Livestock).

If a person other than a veterinarian accredited by AQIS undertakes any activity in an Approved Export Program they will be subject to the penalty provisions contained in the Export Control Act 1982.
