Disability assistance dogs
The following documents provide information for importers wishing to import their disability assistance dogs.
Disability assistance dogs are those that are required to travel with their owner who may be vision or hearing impaired.
Owners must provide proof at time of permit application that the dog has graduated from a member school of the International Federation of Guide Dog Schools, or a member school of Assistance Dogs International, or another organisation recognised by the national government of the country in which the dog was trained, as a school for training assistance dogs.
