APLC Aerial Safety Review
In 2006 the APLC commissioned an independent review of aviation safety procedures associated with its aerial operations. The purpose of the review was to assess the status of aerial activities within the APLC relative to the issue of safety and its enhancement during the conduct of aerial control programs.
The review recommendations dealing with operational safety have been implemented. The recommendations relating to organisational and governance apects are being progressed.
