Intensive Livestock and Game

The Intensive Livestock and Game (ILG) section is a part of the Meat, Wool and Dairy branch, which sits under the Food and Agriculture Division.  The section is the point of contact between the Commonwealth Government, industry and other stakeholders on the issues affecting the intensive livestock and game industries.

ILG works closely with producers, processors and industry bodies within the chicken, egg, pork and game industries. The section assists in the national development, analysis and reporting of issues facing these industries including market access, supply chain networks, quality assurance, feed grain access, natural resource management, animal health and welfare, innovation, product development and assistance program administration.
